Schism Creature

My personal aim since a few years is to redraw or repaint at least one scene of each tool video. This beeing a scene from the schism video. The picture was laying the most time of the last months untouched on my desk. Literally a step-by- step painting. Struggled to continue since I am always afraid of ruining it. That and a little accident with the mask paint, which destroyed the paper structure on some parts (those two white spots close to the red veins are actually mask paint, which i wasn't able to remove anymore without damaging the paper further.)
Besides those little pet peeves and the fact that i can't exactly redraw it, i still like the outcome of this. Guess this is my first real water colour painting which wasn't inked in the end.
